I was noticing my google searches while not on facebook were showing up as ads on the side of the screen. It has become a multi billion dollar company and something just doesn't seem right about that. I was reading on MSNBC that facebook is indeed selling information to others. It's just getting kind of creepy. Facebook is HUGE! It's everywhere! The churches in my neighborhood even have marquee signs for facebook. Sure, the games are fun, but they want you to pay in real dollars to get further ahead or play another round. I also have to keep watching to see if posts are public or private. They change often. It would be so easy to find all the security questions to get into an account. Ex: Your first dog, first child friend, where did you grow up, where were you born, what is color of your first car or who was your first grade teacher. I could easily find that about anyone. I know what you like, what you had for dinner, when you will be on vacation (best time for the world to break into your home), I know what the inside of your homes look like, what kind of car you drive, I know what bank you go to and where you invest your money. I know many private things about every person on there because they posted it. I know what your children look like, when they go to school, what they do after school and when they are home alone. I posted many of the same things so I know. People I play games with who I have never met even have that info. I openly gave it to them. I had many friends from games that I didn't even know. Some people have hundreds of friends. It's just silly. It's just strange that facebook seems so "safe". So.... I deleted my info and deleted my account. While I think facebook is a fantastic way to keep in touch, I will use my email or phone. If you want to get in touch with me please save my email.
