“Rocking The Bells 2010″

As Editor/Curator/Master of Ceremony here at Madbury I touch nearly everything that goes out. So having touched and seen every single piece of the site, I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt that this Rock The Bells spread is one of my favorite things to emerge from the halls of The Club.  Absolutely incredible photography from Brook and top notch writing from Matt.  The Madbury family absolutely killed it on this one.  Experience Lauryn Hill, A Tribe Called Quest, Rakim, KRS-One, Wu-Tang and more from the front lines.  No one is doing it better.  Madbury Club live series, walk with us.

  1. hey man, damn thats a sick concert. I have a quick question about the site, did you make it urself, pay someone too or use a layout, because Im trying to make a site for my film. Thanks bro

  2. I attended the RTB here in CA. Felt the same way Matt felt about Lauryn and the rest of the performances. This by far is the best coverage I have seen. Madbury Club never ceases to amaze me. I love this online pub. Keep going strong !
p.s. I think I’m going to hop on a plane next RTB and hit NY.

  3. i don’t know how i got to this site, but i’m glad i did. incredible writing skill and layout! i felt like i was in the midst of the concert while reading this.

  4. For some reason over the past few years ive been skipping out on Rock the Bells despite the fact that i would get to see my favortie hip hop group of all time, Wu Tang Clan, perform live. But the one year that i decide that im actually gonna attend Rock the Bells, is the same year that they decide to not come back to Miami. :(

  5. when you say that you thought the unthinkable had happened with ol dirty bastards son did you mean shyheim?

  6. @illy Nah, I meant the spiked cornrows, overly baggy clothes and wild delivery coupled with the uncanny resemblence made many people think ODB had somehow joined the Clan onstage to perform. Although the Rugged Child would have been just as insane! “I never had a good Christmas, so who is Santa Clause?!”

  7. great post, keep up the good work, love the site, love to see more fashion profile posts of NY, i love NY”s “Aura’

    All the way from t.o
